color:#1F497D'>With interest I have read about the <b>VERBOSE_STR</b> option.
Apparently it does provide what I tried to get with the SCONS option –Q (the
invocation was ‘tools/build.py project=igunana machine=… -Q –-debug=explain …’),
which did only return the unsubstituted build command (like ‘$CC $SOURCE -o
$TARGET $CC_FLAGS …’), as if –debug=presub were set.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";
color:#1F497D'>Maybe that has something to do with the way SCONS is used, that
not the ‘scons’ command is used, but that directly various SCONS methods are

Feedback such as this is very much appreciated - as we use the software every
day it can sometimes be difficult for us to know where documentation might be
lacking for those less familiar with OKL4. Any other suggestions that anyone
