[okl4-developer] okl4 1.5.2 Build Problems

Hello Michael.

I must say I was in your shoes a few weeks back.

Regarding your problems I have a few empirical advices.
1-install python 244 or python 251; this will clear most build errors with okl4-152.

2-I found problems with the GUI based File Roller (the problem with 0 byte files and empty folders not being extracted)

I prefer using tar xvzf in the command line on the nicta recommended tool-chain, python 244 and okl4-152. I think the elfadorn error is due to you using FIle Roller on the tarball of python244.

I found that for some reason, any concatenation of $LINK somehow strips all
spaces before it and any other string (not just --)

As a temporary work-around, if i hardcode -- ld and append the remaining
flags, i can get by:

        self.dict["LINKCOM"] = "$ELFADORN -o $TARGET $ELFADORN_FLAGS -- ld
$_LINK_COM_FLAGS $LINK_PLAT_FLAGS $_LINKADDRESS $_LINKSCRIPTS $LINKFLAGS
$CRTOBJECT $SOURCES $_LIBFLAGS -o $TARGET"

I know it's cheesy, but at least it works.
