[okl4-developer] OKL4 2.1: Build Option 'VEBOSE_INIT=1 ' doesnot work

Hello, Josh
Many thanks for the table of build options: that is really helpful!
With interest I have read about the VERBOSE_STR option. Apparently it does provide what I tried to get with the SCONS option –Q (the invocation was ‘tools/build.py project=igunana machine=… -Q –-debug=explain …’), which did only return the unsubstituted build command (like ‘$CC $SOURCE -o $TARGET $CC_FLAGS …’), as if –debug=presub were set.
Maybe that has something to do with the way SCONS is used, that not the ‘scons’ command is used, but that directly various SCONS methods are called at PYTHON script level.
Regards
Frank

Hi Frank,
Thanks for picking up on our lack of documentation regarding build options - please see a full listing with descriptions now available at http://wiki.ok-labs.com/BuildOptions.
Feedback such as this is very much appreciated - as we use the software every day it can sometimes be difficult for us to know where documentation might be lacking for those less familiar with OKL4. Any other suggestions that anyone might have for content that they'd like to see up on the Wiki is always very welcome - we'll do our best to get you what you need.
Thanks again,
Josh Matthews
