Just to reiterate, we use arm-linux-gcc-3.4.4 and python-2.4.4 in the  
okl4 build system.

With regards to building skyeye 1.2.3, try this command:

  $ make STATIC=1 NO_DBCT=1 NO_LCD=1 NO_BFD=1 PPC_DISABLE=1

I was able to get a working skyeye with this command, and it was built  
using gcc-4.1.2
(_no_ cross compilation of course).
