We use various distros here, such as Ubuntu and CentOS, but OpenSuse  
should work fine also.  It really doesn't make a difference as long as

I'd suggest that you first build okl4 without the "simulate" target.

  # ./tools/build.py machine=gumstix project=iguana wombat=yes

Then do the following:

  # skyeye -c tools/sim_config/gumstix.skyeye -e build/images/image.sim

This works for the 1.5.2 release.

Note: The image.boot and image.elf files are not used for the skyeye  
simulator.

OK, the workaround that you have is good (and I can say this won't be  
a problem again in future releases).  However there is no simulator  
for kzm, you'll have to run it on real hardware.

So my overall advice would be to stick to gumstix, and simulate using  
the commands I've suggested.

Please let us know if you run into any more obstacles.
