[okl4-developer] arm_high_vector used low. does it lead to port problems?

Hello again.

I've gotten past the enabling MMU in init_memory(), but now I have another problem.

I can't use the FFFF.0000 for the vector table, so I have to remove the macro C15_CONTROL_X in C15_CONTROL_KERNEL in arch/arm/pistachio/cpu/arm1176jz/include/cpu/syscon.h.

Can you give me a heads up on any code area that does not like this?

Does something depend on FFFF0000 being the base for the vector address?

I should say that right after turning the MMU on I've lost the console (may be that it gets hanged right after I turn on the MMU and before I enter system_startup_mmu()'s init_platform(). So anything you say might ease my debugging procedure.

Thanks
Gabi Voiculescu
