[okl4-developer] debug symbols in elf image?

Does OKL4 allow for the image.elf and image.boot to be generated with debug symbol information? I wanted to debug something with 

arm-linux-objdump -dx -S build/images/image.elf 

on the entire image (serial is not up and running yet to allow me kdb access).
