Hi jothi

You can follow the following easy steps to install okl4 on i386-linux-pc
:
1) Install the qemu simulator from here :
    http://linux.softpedia.com/get/System/Emulators/QEMU-8106.shtml

2) Download the toolchain from here : 
 
https://www.ertos.nicta.com.au/downloads/i686-gcc-3.3.4-glibc-2.3.3-2006
-06-02.tar.gz
   unpack it into /opt

3) Add the bin directory of toolchain to your path 
   compile with : 
   ./tools/build.py machine=ia32_pc99 project=iguana wombat=True
toolprefix=i686-unknown-linux-gnu- simulate
