Hello Hal,
	Looks like the issue was with our platform where keyboard is
bound to 8042 instead of PS/2, so enabling CONFIG_SERIO_I8042 did the
trick. John Keys here tracked it down while debugging the issues.

Hi Mona,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Can you check a couple of things for me please.
Firstly can you please ensure that KDB breakin is disabled. If its
enabled you would get these symptoms.
Also please have a look at the linux configuration and check that the
keyboard drivers are enabled.

If neither of these things bares fruit please get back to me and we'll
delve deeper.
