Hi Ben,

the next release of OKL4

Cool!!, are you planning to remove L4 scheduler from ukernel, or will
iguana, have an independent scheduler, that works with the help of L4
scheduler?,

I have come to some thinkings about user mode scheduling, like for instance
timer_interrupt could be taken out of u-kernel to one mandatory thread
created by the root server, which will then tell the kernel about ticks with
a privileged syscall, in such a way it could use timer drivers on user
space. Anyways, lately i've been trying to make this multi-personality
scheduling server on top of iguana which is close to be "useful", if you can
call that useful :), anyhow, it has led me into some conclusions and/or
ideas about L4 scheduling, I'll post them sometime soon, when I get to
orginize such ideas:)

Sure,

Jorge
